Privacy Policy

This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in the disquette application (the "App") and on this website.

We take personal privacy seriously. disquette is built to collect as little as possible: your setup codes, notes and accessory data are stored only on your device. The App runs no server, requires no account, and we never receive a copy of your data.

The App does not include analytics or tracking of any kind. When you scan a setup code or read HomeKit data, that information never leaves your device. Encrypted backups you export are protected by your own password and are yours to store wherever you like — we never see them.

The App uses Apple as a payment provider for the one-time Unlimited unlock. Apple's Privacy Policy can be found here. We never receive your name, email or payment details — only an anonymous receipt that the App verifies on-device.

The App also uses RevenueCat to manage purchases. RevenueCat's Privacy Policy can be found here.

We use randomly generated identifiers in the App to anonymously identify devices and users. Your anonymous user identifier (the "User ID") is associated with data sent to RevenueCat.

If you email us for support or other feedback, the emails and email addresses will be retained. The email addresses will only be used to reply to the concerns or suggestions raised and will never be used for any marketing purpose.

By using the App, you consent to this privacy policy.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page.
