Does disquette control my home?

No. It can't turn anything on or off and runs no automations. It reads your homes and accessories and remembers the setup codes that the Home app doesn't keep.

Where does my data live?

On your device. There's no account and no server. With Unlimited you can export an encrypted backup and store it wherever you like.

What happens if I reset my Home?

HomeKit regenerates its internal IDs and saved rows stop matching. disquette keeps your saved codes and notes, ready for the next pairing.

Why can't I delete a free save to free up a slot?

Deliberate. Otherwise the free tier becomes a slot machine: delete one, save one. Your three oldest saves stay free forever, and locked rows can still be permanently deleted.

Is there a Watch app?

Yes. Your vault is on your wrist too.
